Bolt and Nut World

About Us

Bolt and Nut World, established the 15th March 1991, initially traded under the name "RS Distributors".The founder, Mr Richard William Sims, felt that it was necessary to give the company a more appropriate name to clearly identify the products traded as well as the company's rapid growth in the fastener sector: "Bolt and Nut World cc". Bolt and Nut World's symbol is a bolt and nut fastening the Earth that has been split in two: This represents our fasteners keeping the world together.

Our company culture and procedures were adopted and put in place to create a business environment that is conducive to an overall positive work environment.
"To guarantee a high level of quality, variety, and reliability to all our clients, and to uphold our company policy, that of service excellence." – this statement is what the Bolt and Nut World family internalized as our basic mission statement.

Bolt & Nut World was now on Cape Town's map, fully registered as a close corporation and had the task of building the company's reputation by satisfying every single need of each individual client to the best of our ability. To keep up with the exponential growth of the company, Bolt and Nut World made the bold move of locating to its first warehouse of 115m2. The move attracted fresh new businesses/clients and soon more people had to be employed to meet the demands and supply of the growth of our client base.

As Bolt & Nut World expanded, space once again became a problem due to the growth of the company and bigger stock demand. As a result, Bolt and Nut World then purchased their own building in 52 Viben Avenue, Brackenfell Industrial - a move that took place a year earlier than planned. The building consists of 3 units, which are used to carry stock from the smallest nut to the biggest bolt. Our stock is upgraded regularly to meet the demands of our many valued clients which is why we are known as one of the biggest and most reliable key suppliers of fasteners in the Western Cape.
